AfPP is delighted to welcome two new trustees who will be joining the board in January 2025; Will Windsor and Craig Griffiths.

Will is Clinical Manager at Prince Charles Hospital in Gurnos, Merthyr Tydfil, and Craig is a Senior Lecturer at the University of South Wales.

Commenting on his appointment as an AfPP trustee, Will said: “I am truly honoured to accept my appointment as a trustee for the Association for Perioperative Practice. This opportunity fills me with excitement and pride, as I am deeply committed to advancing the standards of perioperative care. I look forward to collaborating with fellow trustees and members to enhance our community’s impact, share knowledge, and drive innovation in practice. Together, we can foster an environment that prioritises patient safety and professional development. I am eager to contribute my insights and work alongside such dedicated professionals who share our common goal of excellence in perioperative practice.”

Craig said: “As someone who started their theatre career working a weekend shift as a band 2 in sterile services, to now be entrusted with this position, is a great privilege. I look forward to working with the board, HQ team and most importantly the members of the AfPP to continue its work and mission to benefit those members and the wider perioperative workforce.”
