The Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) has launched an exciting programme of events for 2025, designed to inspire and support perioperative professionals across the UK.
Highlights include the flagship AfPP Annual National Conference, a series of brand-new Regional Conferences, engaging Webinars and Online Workshops, and exclusive premium Symposium events. This diverse programme promises to deliver innovative insights, practical learning opportunities, and unparalleled networking for the perioperative community.
“Building on the huge success of AfPP’s 60th Anniversary year in 2024, we are hosting a range of events throughout 2025 aimed at advancing the skills and knowledge of perioperative professionals across the UK,” said Alex Duke, the Chief Executive Officer of AfPP.
The two-day Annual National Conference, one of the largest gatherings of perioperative professionals in the UK, is AfPP’s showcase event, bringing together industry leaders, experts, and practitioners for keynote sessions, workshops, and networking. The AfPP Annual National Conference is taking place at the University of Warwick from Friday 8th to Saturday 9th August 2025.
For 2025 AfPP has introduced a series of 12 new one-day Regional Conferences which are taking place throughout the year across the UK. Each conference will feature a programme of speakers and exhibitors.
These events cover innovative technologies including AI and robotics, sustainability and green practices, important clinical advancements and support of both physical and mental health and wellbeing. The events will address local issues and topics relevant to perioperative professionals in the specific Regional Conference location.
Also, brand new for 2025 are two prestigious Symposium events featuring industry-leading speakers and subject-specific exhibitors. These events will be held in-person in key UK locations and focus on current trends and future innovations. They will deliver insights that are critical for anyone looking to elevate their practice and improve patient outcomes in the rapidly evolving world of perioperative care.
A series of Webinars and Online Workshops will provide flexible, accessible education on specialised topics.

She added: “We are welcoming both our current members and non-members to all our events, and all provide valuable CPD hours.”
